Freshest cup

On this very flower, I find water
the ripples of petals
swim through gorgeous yellow algae...

I'll leave you alone
so you can drink
from the cleanest fountain of pollen,
circulating through the pipes of Spring
filled on your honey plate.

Bee, you do so much I have to wrap my smile
tenderly across your work
as a ribbon of observant thank you's,
I wear jewelry of nature
brittle as a sting if I don't carefully care.

Isn't it nice to watch for insects, keep flowers seen intact and not try to hurt the bees that can be so lovely. Yes, I'm still scared of them a bit, but I'm still trying on that one to be like my mamma shows!
