I知 afraid of having to go live
with one of the kids.
Finding out straws were drawn
and the loser the short straw got me.
I知 afraid it値l be the one
I never really got along with
for reasons I壇 ratter not get into now
and for the rest of my life.
I値l be accused of never doing anything
right again.
I知 afraid I知 gonna wish
I took out that nursing home insurance,
eighty-five dollars a month seems
penny wise pound-foolish on my part
now that I think about it
and you know, they池e going to
throw it up in my face
make me wish I did.
If I ever start bitching about
having to sleep in that spare room
made up for me behind the bar
in that basement.

Yes the temporary nature of life and the suddenness and unexpectedness of death. We should value every moment and love with every ounce of our beings. Your poem reveals your heart.
