Open the doors
in your mind,
look inside,
see what you find.
Mysteries hide
behind the locks,
find the keys,
forget the knocks,
boldly go,
where none have been
let your psychic
journey begin.

I have no idea.

You may have no idea, but you have a great poem.. Good luck in the contest.

to look within is a good thing, to travel down the lanes of mystery to find the self, even if it is madness that greets us
a good poem.

You must have some idea
because this is an idea in itself, and a great one at that. (I say that because I've thought the same thing myself.
Actually, the idea of 'doors' in the mind is used in the title of a 1954 book by Aldous Huxley, "The Doors of Perception." It comes from a poem, "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" by William Blake:
"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern."
It's also where Jim Morrison supposedly got the name for his band. (That won't make sense unless you're familiar with "The Doors".)

Wow,
Sorta took me in a different arena from the previous poetry I was reading.. but that's cool.. and it's a blast to just pen about anything.. go with the flow, bravo.
Thanks for sharing, and keep up the great works. Peace~
