and you betray me
I forgive you
Even if you turn me over to my enemies

Even if you say I am a worse person than a murderer
I forgive you
Even if my life lies in your hands and
you decide to end my life
cause I tried to show you what was right
I forgive you
No mater what you do I will forgive you
cause your not going to stand between
my God and I
This is the reason why
His love is far to great for me to give it up
for a simple grudge
that will rot my very being
cause it will make me stop believing
I don't know if your seeing
what I am trying to get at
here's something that might help you understand that
Forgiving your enemy is like burning hot coals on his head
and placing a blessing on thee....

I love the overall message in this write, and it has a nice flow. A couple of things you might want to check before judging occurs.. fourth line is missing the word "you", I think, and in the next to last line
I think you meant "coals" not "coles"..all in all a good sincere poem. Thank you for entering my contest. -
