I Think of You

When I wake
I think of you,
Wishing  I could turn to my side and see you sleeping there

When I dress
I think of you,
Wishing I have you here to look good for

When I eat
I think of you,
Wishing I could cook you your favorite dish

When I sing
I think of you,
Wishing I could somehow make you my song

When I am alone
I think of you,
Wishing you were with me to express our feelings

When I laugh
I think of you,
Wishing I could see your sweet smile

When I cry
I think of you,
Wishing I had your chest to cry into

When I pray to God
I think of you,
Wishing I could express all the gratitude I feel

When I am with you
I think of you,
Wishing for absolutely nothing more

    i like it

im not really into the sappy love poems, this one worked out well, as an Army wife i understand that he's not going to be here for me every minute, so i need to appricate the time he is, i love that you put wishing for absolutely nothing more, that really ties all the wishes together this poem has a great flow, keep writing, -Amy
