Golden rainbow

I came to your garden,
my eyes gently closed,
with the scent of springtime
my senses aroused.

Walking next to you
and holding your hand
another smell comes to me,
the freshness of wet furrowed land.

Your sudden, warm and gentle hug
kept me safe like in the nest
my nose tucked into your neck,
heart talking to heart, the port of your chest.

In the smile of your eyes
I see violets, colors from the skies
where flowers tied with our love
make a golden rainbow,
a wreath of hyacinth and shining daffodils.

    SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Oh what lovely memories reading this brings back to me! That wonderful smell of fresh turned dirt, the flowers with the morning dew sending their sweet aromas up through the living room window, what sweet memories they are.
