sailing free on tides of imagination,
phrases, like seagulls
glide,
in and out of context.
navigating rough undercurrents
of cliche.
oceanic vultures,
picking on the bones of ideas
breaking waves,
washed up on thought's shore.

a good piece of poetry here, i like the intermingling of waves and words, that works well in my mind. the sky and the shore and feathered life too, all flapping together with poetry and imagination.
