It is the dawn of a newer day, the dawn of my life,
Where the beauty of ice covered stones meets
With the reality of passion covered words,
And where lives converge upon the clouds of memories.
I have lived through it all,
Pain, suffering, defeat... anguish,
Naturally, nothing is new,
But nothing is ever old.
Life is more than what it is as well,
And you have not lived until
You have seen the curve of the sky,
Felt the grace of doves,
Tasted the aromas of the minutes before rainfall,
Or loved the earth as it once was.
