M I N E
That’s what was written across the bedroom wall in dripping gobs of red.
My eyes followed a trail of bloody handprints where she had tried to pull herself along the wall to get to the telephone. At trails end there she was, folded over with phone in her lap.
"What have we got boys?" I asked, nauseated by the carnage surrounding me.
"Jean says she has a recording of a conversation with this woman last week" Fred replied. "He had threatened to 'stab her right in the hole where her heart should be.' I guess he really meant it."

Wow..this one was giving me the shivers....I extually saw that girl trying to get to the phone...

To know so many idiots are on this planet killing other people...and for what????
I hope it will never happen to me and the ones I know, read and love...

Now your growing. I don't enter contests without it being me trying to fit something I have already written that goes with their theme. I have won doing this, but not very often. You did a great job with this and I hope you do well. The story as it plays out is great. You got me going and kept my attention. RC

This is very good, Sarah. A consise story with the element of goriness befitting a story of this kind... and all in 100 words

Good luck in the contest

Congrats on getting the 100 words exactly and making a story out of it.
I think I would get nauseated as well with all of that.
Well done
