Blinded

I walk down to the shops
A man yells "this is is a robbery"
And I simply do not see
You've blinded me

Coming home a siren bellows
A car rushes past, cop close behind
The cop speeds up, does a PIT
The car spins and slams into a tree
The man gets out of his mangled cockpit
And within seconds starts to flee

The cop yells "Freeze" and draws his gun
The man spits at the officer and starts to run
The officer fires, the tazer hits it's mark
The man screams "I give up" as his leg starts to spark
And all of this disorder, all this calamity
I simply do not see
You've blinded me

The world could burn around me
The sky could fall, and it all go to hell
There could be pain and torture and death
