I sent off a poem
a poem that I like,
to a publishing company
for me today, it excites.
I got a copy of my poem
through the mail, it had come,
I was extremely happy
made my day, even more awesome.
My poem got accepted
for an anthology,
along with two hundred and twenty-four people
this is so special to me.
My eyes were lit up
after I read the letter,
I am hoping to send in another one
something a little better.
The title of the book is
"Expressions- A collection of Short Works,"
I can't do anything else
except have a big smirk.
