Desire.

The beating of rain on the roof,
Forced my tightly closed eyes open-
A flash of lightning,
Like the devil smiling,
Showing off his bright smile,
Trying to color the sky.
A sudden roar of thunder,
Like the laughter of revenge.

Under the covers laden with sticky sweat,
A soothing gush of coldness quickly spread,
The air outside brought thoughts to mind.

As I breathe the first spring’s shower,
I felt the desire,
The desire to be,
Out there where the devil smiled.
The desire to be,
Part of nature’s art,
The desire to -
Feel the sky’s tears of pleasure.
The desire to -
Soak up on heaven’s love,
The desire to be-
Part of earth’s and sky’s lovemaking.

The desire to be-
A star under the thunder’s highlights.
The desire to...
Feel every single drop of rain on my body.
The desire to...
Dance the dance of joy,
That the hands of the hollow barks danced;
The desire to be dressed and wrapped around,
In the arms of the wild wind.

The desire to -
Feel the unforgiving wet kisses of rain,
Thrusting parts of body undiscovered,
And smashing against tender skin.

The desire to -
Feel my clothes,
Clinging onto me as a lover would.
The desire to -
Breathe in the aroma of spring’s rain,
The fragrance of crushed lilies and daises,
The desire to be-
Embraced by the smiling devil,
And his art of pleasure.
The desire to -
Lay on the new, wet spring grass,
And fall asleep thinking that there will be no tomorrow.

I breathe in again, eyes now wide open,
Thinking about the unfulfilling desires;
Desires of spring’s first pour.
