Bouquet

When I have cut the yellow
ones, the purple,
& one red flower,
I arrange them
& fill the vase with water.

When next you drive,
you will discover it
in your seat.
There is no card attached.
There are only flowers,

the beautiful ones,
& a vase with water.

Please tell me what you think

    Very Good.

What a romantic gesture! I am sure that it's really a lucky person who finds a bouquet of flowers from someone who doesn't have to attach a card...So well thought out, and packed with emotions.
    Congrats and best regards!

A woman always loves flowers, especially hand-picked ones. I love flowers in poetry too and one of my favourite quotes is "it is at the edge of the petal that love awaits".

Lovely simplicity and a touch of the mysterious here.

It is at the edge of the petal that love awaits... How true. It is at the edge of feelings that love begins. You words send me off in a new direction toward more simplicity and the mysterious that surrounds us...

      Thank you so much...

Direct and simple language has a voice all its own . . . and a nice voice it is. This speaks to intentions and the inner climate of the heart. Nice poem, mt.

      Jaden,
Voice is the one element that takes time to cultivate... grow. Reading your works, and the words of so many good poets on this site--over time--speaks to the truth that you point out...
      Thanks...
