I have always wanted to travel the world,
Visit cities unlike any I know, like Tokyo, for example.
I want to see the dramatic, neon lights
Unlike any place in Ireland.
I want to smell tulips, with the one I love,
Under a grey, threatening sky.
I want to escape this suffocating air
And listen to classic rock under the stars.
I want us to drink black coffee
To give us more energy, so we can stay up all night.
I dream realistically; I don't get carried away.
I dream filled with lust,
'Wishing' some might say.
I want to be your beautiful,
For us to share our lives;
Have an apartment, some plants,
Maybe even our own dog; something shared, that is equally ours,
Until you can change from being indifferent,
And say to me, "I want to have your babies".
