Her purpose

Missing image
Eternal question that clouds my heart
Why must loved ones, so soon part?
But as I grew wiser my questioning stalled
For later I realized - the answer is told

Pollen is gathered by busy little bees
To make sweet honey in hives, up in the trees
They all serve a purpose, a reason to be there
There lives are short, not one is spared

A reason for living, a reason to die
Each of us lives, with a reason in His eye
Not seen by humans each time we look around
But often discovered, when the Creator is found

Hang on dear Cathy,
Her purpose was lived
No breath will leave us until that was served

Author notes

This poem is in memory of Chloe Lane.

To my dear friend Cathy and the family (especially the mom) My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you even though I'm thousands of miles away.

May you find strength in God and within each other.

All my love
Rebekah

This does not only speak a few words but chapters, books, encyclopedia's....but most importantly eternity!

May i print this poem to use as a marker in a very special Book?
