Nothing comes and goes so fast,
As the life you hold, you want to last.
Problems faced here and there,
Corners turned and things to share.
Little laughs and laughs to cry,
Make living one big lulaby.
Crying for the ones you love,
And for everyone unknown.
Make you the special person that you are,
And knowing that you'll grow.
The future that for one noone knows,
But in God's hands it lays.
For holding on to what you've got,
Tomorrow and today.
Somethings in life are not too quick,
But short and to be kept.
For memories of the ones you love,
Are tears meant to be wept.
I give you this and many hopes,
That God will set you free.
For every prayer that should be made,
Should be made for you and your family.
I hope everything goes well for you,
And you come back real strong.
I know you will, I believe in you,
That there is nothing wrong.
Now go back home and rest real long,
For tomorrow is another day.
Let the clouds be nice and the wind blow cool,
Have fun, go outside and play.

Writing this poem really touched myself as I read it, and I hope it touches you and the boy. Just thinking about what he must be going through brought tears to my cheeks. But when you give this please, give him my best. Through this poem and from me. That would mean so much to me just knowing that that's there. And you using this would be just an honor. I know I may only be 15 and I have a lot to learn. But doing this poem and writing this may be one way I have learned. I really do hope this is what your looking for. If not then that's okay. But just knowing that you took the time to read it means a lot. Thank You.

Okay, good poem for a contest like that, just want to let you know that your rhyming switched from "every line" to "every other line". take a look at the last word in each line. its not uncommon, but just thought you should know it threw me off there for a minute. lol. luv ya!

hey! thanks...it was a bit hard...but to come up with it right off the top of my head was the easy part...lol...but i really hope he gets better and gets his chance at life...give him my hopes...
