It is not good, so I've been told
by many that know my tale
to love one of my own fair sex
their reasons have surely turned stale
It isn't right, or so I've heard
since I was a wee young lass
Man to woman is the only way
that marriage shall come to pass
It is ok, despite their noise
for Love is NEVER wrong
Slowly but surely society is starting
to sing a different song
Someday we'll see rights given to us
as should be, 'tis only fair
We hold our heads up high and Proud
to the nay-sayers:We just don't care!
Until that day, that I can see coming nearer
I will love my beloved still
Without fear or disgrace, in truth and light
Our family my greatest thrill
And if you wish to put me down,
disgrace me and call me names aloud
I will simply walk past, head even higher
and join the ever-growing 'family' crowd

Ya ive been told that too... but as you said, love is love... it shouldnt matter that we're female or male, gay strait or bi... if your in love you should be able to express that. great job on this and best of luck in this contest!

You would think as far as this country has come, people are still in the Dark Ages. This life style may not be right for me but who am I to say it is not right for someone else.
