Apples, cherries, berries, apricot,
I know today I have eaten a lot,
Before I move, I need to halt,
"Burp" I am sorry not my fault.
It was my friends wedding party,
the meal was lavish and hearty,
Though I didn't intend overeating,
everything there was so tempting.
I couldn't but help trying it all,
starters meal dessert, I had a ball.
I couldn't say goodbye when I left,
how could I, with my stomach so heft.
Oh what a party, what a blast,
wish that meal would forever last,
But then what about my slim figure,
a lot of fat this food will trigger,
I think I am better as I am now,
and just wish to reach home somehow,
Come and carry me once my hubby sweet,
I promise not to overeat.
