They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
But they mean nothing to me anymore.
Without you in my life,

They’re just old and fading memories,
I just can’t get beyond.
Living life from day unto day,
Some things
I find I can live without.
But the one thing I find I cannot live without.
It’s you in my heart,

I just can’t get beyond.
Beyond the pictures.

Beyond a lifetime of fading memories.
Beyond all the things held dear in my heart.
There are just some things I can’t get beyond.
Losing you is number one.
The places we’d gone.
The things we’d seen.
The things we’d done are all just a fading dream.
Life’s little moments frozen in time;
Bits and pieces of an adventurous lifetime.
I just can’t get beyond.
Beyond the pictures.
Beyond the words.
