Imperfect

I am
a no nonsense, straight up
take it or leave it kind of girl.

Defensive and passionate,
I know exactly who I am
and where I am,
Not where I'm going (yet.)

Have to leave something to chance I guess.

I'm the most imperfect, unorganised,
un-educated in some respects.

Take for example political events.

I come off tough, uncaring,
even cold sometimes.

But melt my heart and I will surprise you.

Let me in and I will make you laugh

So hard.

This is a very good poem. I like the fact that you know who you are and are proud of it. This has a lot of feeling. Great job. Alyssa
