The game of life, and how to play it
Is the awakening of ones day, eyes wide open, smell the early morning dew
Wipe the fog from your brain, for today is brand new
Don't look back on yesterday, for the prize is today
Remember, the game of life
This is how you play!
Do not jog along with those heavy loads
Put a spring in you step, head held high
Observe everything around you,
Smile, and keep smiling don't feel shy
You will find as you travel, people are wondering why!
That you can take time to smile, and wish them well on there way
And you alone know, life's game to play
It's easy to give of oneself
A smile thats worthwhile a kind word from the heart
A simple gesture of love can change your life
Make this day a brand new start.
Yes, the Game of Life is within us all
It comes from our God above
He has given us the greatest gift
To show others how to Love!

The messages are heartfelt and true. The flow, for the MOST part, doesn't fluctuate or ride over bumps, but I fell that this is lacking in some poetic devices and the rhyme is too simple for my taste. Even forced at a few areas
EX:
"As the day passes by, you find yourself happy within
All the pain gone that made you so lame
Your infectious smile is remembered by all
They know that you have played life's game"
That stanza really throws off the rest of your flow.
