I knew that I should never have gone out on the town
laying right here I feel so like a clown,
but everything's fuzzy I had to stop for a while
I feel like I've travelled for hours and miles.
So just a small rest while I gather my wits
for right at this moment they're shattered to bits,
I found this nice fence post where I seem to fit just right
when people walk past they get such a fright.
But right at this moment a hangover I've got
so until I can move I'll stay right on this spot,
I dare not look down for I think I'm up high
I beg you don't tell me for I think I would cry.
My paws they are dangling my tail's all askew
I don't know which way's up, I just haven't a clue,
but I do know one thing, I'll not do this again
on this poor little body it's too much of a strain!
