I would give eternity.
Sacrificed the elixir for mortal-kind.
Elven heritage betrayed.
Why endure infinity alone
when there is choice?
Believe in the brief moment,
not tomorrow's promises.
My heart is an empty void decorated with the words
Roses don't last forever.
Do I treasure thee enough?
"Yes", I whisper in Aragon's ear
as he sleeps unaware.
I would give eternity since
what is life without love?

Not bad. I can't ever compleltely get into LotR free verse though, since Tolkien always rhymed though.
Life is nothing without love. I like the last line best. I don't know that I care for the second line too well though. I assume you're using "elixir" in a metaohorical sense, but it doesn't work too well for me.
Not bad, thanks for entering.
