If I were a lion, caged behind bars,
I'd pretend to be free, hide the scars,
I would roar real loud, scaring crowds,
but what about being a monkey?
no way! they smell so funky,
I think about being an elephant,
never in a hurry, doing what they want,
maybe being a bear would be lots of fun,
lounging all day, soaking up the sun,
some kid even called me a funny looking rat,
walked up to me and hollered "scat!",
the nerve!, I wiggled my tail and laid back,
if you ask me, she was a spoiled brat
am I not good enough for the circus or zoo?
think of me as an acrobat, and a thief too,
just like humans... looking over the little guy,
so I'm laying right here, until I catch one's eye

Hehe. Love it. Cute picture! I like the sound of being a bear. Lying in the sun, sleeping mmmmmmmm. I'm all for hibernation too. Love the title.
