Squeezing sweetness out of limes
Stripping blood cells from a rock
Sucking poison out open wounds
An injection of fizz sizzles into thin air
A shot of kamikaze hits the heart
Alcohol dipped syringes drain
Diluted toxins fail to kill
Dammed up eyes do not pour
Disinfected, sealed and healed

You truly write in such a fascinating way that always grabs the attention of the reader. I was certainly impressed with this poem. I think it should be in a book of great poems. Your muse never fails you to be a writer that seems to possess a golden pen. Good luck in the contest (even though you hae my vote to be on the top list).
