There is always music
everywhere and anywhere there is music.
The leaves are crinkle and crunch,
the birds that sing,
the wind that howls and blows,
and the beetles and ants that crawl.
The dripping tap,
the furnace,
the buzz of a lamp,
and even your own echoing footsteps.
The noises of a crowd
the honking of a car,
the din of a classroom,
and the cacophony of traffic.
The music of earth,
it might just sound like a meaningless mixture of sounds,
it might not even seem like music to you,
but to some,
they hear past that and hear the true sound,
the wonderful sound of music.
