Rain soaked through
I'm chilled to my soul.
The soft ground crumbles beneath my feet,
and my body falls onto the gentle earth.
Laying in a meadow,
drowning in the rain,
I close my eys and listen.
A windchime rings
in the cool spring breeze.
The crickets hum
their solstice song.
A playful breeze
blows through the trees.
I give myself to the earth.
I bask in it's gentle embrace.
A sense of calm,
warms my soul.
I am all alone,
but I've found myself.
