What if your prince charming has already come along
But you were too blind to see
What if you find out you were wrong
He wasn’t brave enough for me
Stupid fairytales in my head
Telling me how it should be
But my knight in shining armor
Only wanted a chance to rescue me
I’m stuck up in this tower
That I had made for me
Waiting for someone to break straight through
While I already held the key
He flew by every test
But I still was not impressed
Because as you can see
He was way too good for me
But my prince charming came along
And now he’s long gone
And I know I was wrong
Perfection wasn’t good enough for me
