As the sun awakes across the lake,
the buds sing their morning tune,
the moon begins to set,
and the day begins.
As the sun beams and heats the water,
people awake with awe,
for this glorious day has just begun.
Love fills the air,
along with laughter from couples,
as each holds hands,
and bends over for a kiss.

vivid and inspiring
I like this poem. It paints a picture in my head with a minimal amount of words and effort on the poet's part. The poem also reflects upon the poet's inner thoughts with respect to how she envisions a day of pure love that every couple experiences. Perhaps it is because the poet herself has become so immersed in love that she can only see couples loving each other at every moment of the day.
