The sun of Love

Look at the sunrise,
tell me what you see.
What I see is love,
Love sprung up like a new flower bud.
Fresh as morning coffee.

As the sun turns from pink to yellow,
I see you rolling over on your side.
You kiss me, rub my stomach,
and whisper I love you.

As the sun rises father up,
you and I just lay looking into each others gaze,
forever and ever.

Please tell me what you think

The poet's love for another is described very simply with the metaphor of sun's changes throughout the day. During certain points of the sun's change and movement across the sky, she can easily describe a moment with her loved one. The sun is symbolic of their love for each other so as the sun rises, so does their love for each other.
