Blonde, beautiful, yet afraid of life
Her magnetism, supreme
Who dares, to say she never lived
Or did you forget, death favours no one
Her hurt was deep, those scars never heal
In the limelight, she was exposed
No where to hide, camera lights flashing
Her inner being, scared, and love froze
We all have secrets, perhaps she had more
No one wll ever know, her death was concealed
Many tales have been told,
And no one knows the score
Marilyn is a legend
Today, many more are seeking fame
To die for a cause is worthy
Yet no one plays the game

What a unique interpretation of the theme of this contest - yes, this poor woman did not have it easy, and so much has been written and said about here, even films about her life have been made. Enjoyed reading about this famous movie star.
