The moon is up: the stars are bright
The clouds are gone: the breeze so young
The three young girls travel in the night
Through the forest and the paths
Clambering over the thickets and thrushes
Towards their secret place in the trees up high
Stealing their sentiments - keys to their hearts
They yearn to see the sky to which they sigh
Yet the darkness they do fear, and to travel in it so
Determination and bravery so often shown
These girls, they are like no other to be found
Thoughts of steel and their friendship of iron
Like a cloud, they moved so silently
Motion managed so delicately
Checking behind them every footstep
But they continue through faithfully
And finally they arrive at their destination
The tallest tree in the forest, so high up
To sit on the branches, and look towards the stars
That's all they need, their nightly pickup
Lest the stars shine so brightly,
And the clouds disappear for the night,
The Moon reflecting its light towards them
Then the children can enjoy this lovely sight

This is a very descriptive piece of work. I think the verb tenses are a bit mixed up, if I may continue the English analysis mode mentioned below. But there's a lot of enthusiasm which I like. Thanks for entering.
The original poem is by Alfred Noyes, whose most famous poem is The Highwayman. I couldn't find a link to this one. Never mind. -
Verry descriptive, just paints a picture in the reader's mind -haha slipping into English analysis mode there...- great write though =]
