I am flesh and bone
with limbs so fragile
I could be lifted
on twine to perform
like a puppet
and when life’s strands
tug at my strings
I can sing and dance
but feel no emotion
there is no applause
or flowers of appreciation
only a wooden box
to lay my entangled body
...after all
is said and done

The author has enveloped an emotional stigma we find ourselves in at times of unsurity and low depressed feeling well here. It fits the mold for the image prompt very well.
