Don't Fear for me,
out in the weather.
My spirit born
in down and feather.
Atop a great
pine that sways to tilt.
is where my mighty
aerie was built.
A shield of spread plumes
from head to tail,
Between my chick,and
spring storm's wet gale.
My life on wings see
glorious sights,
As I lifted love to
grander heights.
Not now a Lone
Eagle, but soul pair.
Joined with my mate,
we soar through the air.
Don't fear for me
against Earthly pull.
My sail will spill,
but my life is full.
Please know, when winds
turn nefarious,
My fate was free,
but.. Precarious.

I love the rhythm and rhyme you've created here. A wonderful piece, with beautiful imagery. Very well done.

How good to see you Online!
And to read your precious words of spiritual depth and wisdom. I loved this poem, and the picture accompanying it. The deep message makes me think of Jesus'words after the Resurrection: Do not fear!
How are you, Poetess? I missed you.
Love
Myra
