What is the essence of a poetess

What is the essence of a poetess.

Her spirit free, released, listing.

Waves of gentle currents whisper softly to her soul.

One tender stroke will uplift a flow of tender grace.

Filling, caressing her flesh with inspiration,

and  yearning lungs with mighty breath.

Upon the sea of poetry she glides

among the depths.

Thirsting to surface,

the beauty that she beholds.

The echoes of a fearless heart,

the power of her soul  at last...

released.

Author notes

Sai...I wrote this to inspire you.
I could hear a very bold spirit in you
yearning to let yourself release.

I saw this picture, and it too filled me with courage.
Sometimes amid the deep waters of poetry, we find ourselves silent, and that is okay...it means it's time
to simply, read, listen and learn from the other souls
that inspire us so deeply.

i hope you liked it.

What a wonderful presentation - great picture and lovely poem all together on this page. Well thought out these words - they flow and share a great message about where words come from - great metaphor used here.

"The echoes of a fearless heart,

What a terrific encouragement you have wrought... well penned and thoughtful, I feel as if I've been allowed to glimpse into you as well. Perhaps this is personal as well? Whatever the case, you've done well.
