Such is the passion that comes and
berth by the waters of my gist, for
the earth is my base, the skies and
the breadth of it, perpetual harbours.
Though my soul is a parturition, I
glide with ease over the inlets of
life where streams flow soothingly
and serenity softly emulates poise.
The skies are keenly garbed in indigo,
maroon tears streak across the skies,
cerulean dreams trek with soft ripples,
and quietude impregnates tranquility.
Please tell me what you think

Absolutely beautiful as I can picture that late evening multi coloured sky, soft sweet air, and a stillness that can fill your soul with the peace it needs from everyday life. You paint with words.

SERENE!
Your words are as your name. "quietude impregnates tranquility" , such a wonderful metaphor. Nature grants us such peace, if only we listen to the silence of its beauty. One minute of silence, contemplating anything in nature releases stress. Was drawn to the title as I knew what words lay beneath. Lovely penning. May gentle winds of spring blow through your hair, whispering their secrets!
Namaste!

Wonderful words you have used in these lines; liked the flow and the alliteration throughout this poem. Lovely images come to mind too when reading these verses.

..I love every stanza but this one is gorgeous, I want to quote it:
"Such is the passion that comes and
berth by the waters of my gist, for
the earth is my base, the skies and
the breadth of it, perpetual harbours."

Beautifully penned
Wow this is quite lovely..metaphors and similies I could feel it, sense it, breathe it. This poem is the true birth of being in the spirit. You have done a masterpiece here....

I can see why you chose the name "serene" when you write of serenity like this! This gives me a feeling of serenity, just reading it, and drinking in the words: "where streams flow soothingly and serenity softly emulates poise" - if only our lives could flow as soft and soothingly!
Best wishes,
Moses
