If I was given a chance
To toss this life aside
and take one of my choice
Why, that would be just fine
Being a human is a chore,
People fill you with so much pain
After a hundred bad experiences
It's hard to try again
At first, it was too difficult
To chose what I would be
A feather on a flying bird
Or a leaf on a autumn-colored tree?
And that's when it hit me
The perfect answer came
To be a thing of beauty, why
I'd be a picture frame!
I could hold those dear to you
Memories close to your heart,
Or I could hold a masterpiece
Your favorite piece of art
I'd be embracing loveliness
With each breath that I don't take
I'd finally be complacent
My heart would no longer ache
So in conclusion, a picture frame I'd be
And then live out my blissful eternity
