My heart tells me to be humane
Yet all other around me have forsworn this.
Collective we no longer we are.
A shift such as this
Can only bring about a disfiguration
Of great beauty;
An amorphous wraith will in mirrors await,
And thus my heart will be seen through
The simplicity of great compassion,
Yet convoluted in the placement of nature.
No longer shall importance rule my acts of love.
Of hate, I shall only be a fleeting shadow,
And thus human no longer,
Not languishing from past states,
Not longing for ignorance,
Obsolescence,
Curiosity, and strife.
