It's time
To abandon hands & hearts
Like children's toys
And school yard blues
"Let there be light!"
Screams a crowd of crows
"War is our final end!"
A man screams at our feet
There is nothing solid
Nothing sacred
All is hollow
Insecure
Let it be broken
Our hands & hearts
Abandon dreams of gold
And lay with your liars
Shining things
Left out to rust
The broken cities
Broken & bust
Let there be pain
And let it all rain
On us like a crying god
And burn our skins into dust
Author notes
It's warped, our lives on the brink of shattering at your feet.
Well....suppose you can give me something to work with?

This is an interesting perspective on life. I like this poem the best out of the few of yours that i read. The third and fith stanzas of this poem are really really good, they capture the mood of your poem perfectly. I am impressed.
