i've tried and failed
please forgive me
this life was just to hard
i could not take the pain
so now i float freely in the sky
as a cloud, a watchful eye
only seeing you
my only reason for haning on
and why i now cry
tears of ice, or a warm rain
the only thing left to do
for if i scream
i shurly could rip a house in too
i miss you
but maybe you could join me
and be a cloud too
we could intermingle
like clouds do
flying high in the sky
no care in the world
i could not stand to be alone
so won't you join me
and shead your skin to be
free and fit
forever
as we do not die
we just fall when we cry
but we rise up again
when we become whole
so soar with me
for all eternaty....
unless you can take it
being human till you die

I would definitely like to be a cloud as well, to, as you put it be a "watchful eye." This was lovely. thanks so much for sharing and for your entry!!

p.s. there are some mispelled words here that are a bit distracting to your sweet poem though. once those are gone, it'll be the gem that it is

Just beautiful Kitty
Wow Kitty Kat, this is a really wonderful poem. I love the symbolism throughout the whole thing and it is hopeful, wonderful, and loving all at the same time. If you do not win this contest then the fix was in
.
Great work!
