Your Teddy Bear


Being a human is too hard,
I would like a new role
Something less complicated,
Something you can console.

Perhaps your dear teddy,
Your sweet little bear.
Sitting at your bedside
Waiting for your care.

Yeah, I'll be your teddy,
To hug and cry on.
Your dear and tattered teddy
While others are all gone.

My fur is all matted
My stitches are all worn
But I will always be here,
Your stuffed friend to adore.

    I love this write. When I was a little girl I didn't have any friends so I made my own from a teddy bear. This poem really touches my heart. Very nicely done.

    Teddy bears are a part of so many
    people's lives even in their older
    days. They bring such comfort and

    Cute poem. I wrote one like this...somewhat a few years ago and it was about wanting to be someones' teddy bear. lol Great minds think alike

    that looks so much like my teddy bear. I use him as a pillow .... he gets dusty and I wash him and of course he absorbs all of my tears. Nice Write Rianna.

    It's a sad, sweet poem, and yes, sometimes the real world is hard, we'd prefer to escape and what better than something soft and cuddly? I like how you show that even something as simple as a run down bear can have potential to give love.

    Couple suggestions, Line 2, "roll" should be "role" anf the last line, "adron?" Do you mean adore?
