Strangled laughter transcends sound
Meandering through time and space
Like howling wind trapped in a jar
Restless to no avail, blindly gushing through abyss
Limitless, undying love
Drifts through the atmosphere
Light, yet it falls like rain
Endlessly streaming into the cracks
Words ascend to meet their end
Their slither slows to just a crawl
Broken sounds try to escape
Dancing as vividly with kaleidoscope charm
Droplets of joy form pools and cling
Possessed by open minds
The mantra hypnotizes thought and sound
Manipulates the universe with its resonance.
Turning sorrow into joy,
These alluring eyes do see
The somber tears of the mellow mind
Have left the paper cup beneath them brimming

the descriptions and your use of imagery was superb. it was very detailed and well thought out. you penned this piece well and have created a wonderful "poetic dimension" with this

I especially like the line "like howling wind trapped in a jar." That says so much in so few words. I see mayhem and wildness and abandon being held back. I see emotions trapped. "The somber tears of a mellow mind" sounds like there is no mellow mind left! Anguish. Good luck in this contest.
