On my Birthday
This year
other than the previous ones
I sat still
winding back all the thoughts
all the dreams
all the lost hopes
this year
on my birthday
I decided to let them away
to let my love
forgiveness
and smiles
stay
decided to set these people free
yet
I will never take you back
can you hear?
do you see?
well
this year on my birthday
my strength and care
would forever stay
this year
I didn't decide to change
but just to rearrange
I decided to get back all I lost
my strength and dignity are back
this year on my birthday
the beauty in my life would be back
and hope this year
it'd stay
