broken in the middle
everyone wondering why it fell?
yet watching in silence
and no one offering a hand to help
nor even to gather the shattered glass
everyone just watching
wondering
whispering about it
the swan on the shelve broke
well
everything has an end
and sometimes
there are things that we can't mend
on the shelve it was
lonely
forgotten
when it was remembered
it was broken by the very hands
that thought they were caring
it was broken by those who thought
they'd always find it there on the shelve
waiting for them to recall it
but not anymore
now it's gone
broken
and infront of it
you are standing shocked
and frozen
not believing
what you've broken
now you know?
