Thoughts of the day drift away
once I walk into my door
there is no more loud noises
from the outside world
I am safe in my home
I take off my shoes put them away
go to my quiet place
I get my book and read
everything arounds me changes
it takes me to far away places
and on many journeys
and teaches me new things
without having to leave my bedroom
