yours are the eyes
like newborn stars
hunting me through the leaf patterns of
Fall and over the
snowy hips of winter
can you tell me
to repeat it just once
i caught the shells of your cheeks over and over
with my cotton candy pink lips
during the bodies of projectors and we
ate clouds
your hands are the story of this love
knuckles interlocked and laced
cracks in the skin, opening to
whisper
sweet suffering and i
remain
untold
your eyes are
newborn stars freckled across the galaxy
and playing
with the buttons on my shirt
you made me a forest
where we laughed and cried
and lived and died
and echoed pride
ful sentiments
yours are the breaths
that caught me chanting in lily patterns
, stole mine away
each inexhale brought me
to the window
to see if you had
been
(your arms rounded
my cock
ed hips in the morningtime
"waking up
to you
is better than any sunrise")
our thumbs beat
against one anothers thighs
you told me you smiled
when you caught me
skipping lyrics
like stones over the rippled pond of
your dreams
there is no
love that compares to ours
there is no
reason why anyone else
should be enraptured by anyone else
other than my
being captivated by you
and the way your eyes feather my name
Please tell me what you think

Gorgeous. Captivating. All those positive words that convey the fact that this was a joy to read.

i have missed you so much! i am so glad that you posted this! i think that it is one of your best poems yet!
i like the format, like how some parts of words spill into the next line. they make two statements and they each have duel meanings.
i like how ususual the line about ..."your eyes feather my name" i love how you used "feather" in such a different context than it is usually used in. i love it because it gets the imagery across so well too.
excellent write!!!
