Little gold key,
click to the right,
open my heart
let mind take flight.
Back to my childhood,
those care free times,
when you could buy candy
with nickles and dimes.
Hot barefoot summers
spent flying our kites
bar-b-qued burgers,
star sprinkled nights.
Click to the left,
little gold key,
locked in my heart
sweet memories.

Aw this is just so cute! That little gold key has the power to lock those memories and to make them unforgettable.
I like the rhyming. It's not too much, just the right amount. I think you captured a lot here, and I'm really glad you entered the contest. Great write
much love.
