I've lived my life in the shadows,
Trying to hide my true self.
Sentencing myself to the gallows,
Living a life as unreal as an elf.
Trying to be happy,
When I just want to cry.
Trying to be sappy,
Because there's a wall blocking I.
Afraid to let anyone in,
Even my kin,
On the secret that is my life.
Clinging to a knife,
Ready to die,
But all of this I don't know why.

i like the wording in this poem i realy like that you used the word kin..i thought my family was the only people to us it..i like this poem alot
