blooming daffodils amid the emerald sea make us giddy
as rabbits sail through the waves
the sun toasting our skin with the most bewitching kiss
the ancient oak, silent sentinel, guardian of our paradise
He waits ready to relieve us from the warm summers sun
the wind rubs us in the most enchanting manner
the willow is singing somewhere far off
the wind gives one last kiss
then the flowers whither
the great oak eternal and omnipotent
