"1. The stars are shining like rebel diamonds, cut out of the sun. - The Killers."
Chop 'em up, shred 'em,
Then put the pieces on display,
The real thing was too good,
It had to have its heart cut away,
Melt it down, pour it up,
As long as the original is invisible,
It's ok.
But NO!
That one has the beauty of the sun,
So it's a reject,
Go back and make another one,
We can't have women who believe they are queens,
It'll just mess up every thing,
We can have stars at the most,
High up, shining where no-one needs to go,
Or low down, where people easy-reach,
But no queens,
No queens.
Author notes
Sarcastic poem,
I wrote this from the point of view of one who is against strong women.
